All About Wastewater Treatment

   

Water is basically a transparent fluid that could be found in rain, oceans and lakes and is a major constituent of many organisms. And as being chemical compound, the water molecule has 1 oxygen and 2 hydrogen atoms. Sedimentation - to remove the non-polar liquids and solids from the water, it uses gravity for this stage. It's at this stage where the substances are actually heavier compared to water and collected at bottom of the basins. Other steps have to be followed to be able to complete the elimination process.

 

Filtration - fine solids could be removed through filtration by making use of tools like barrier which attempts to get rid of matters via which the water passes through. Either biological or chemical processes will be used at this phase to remove the impurities.

 

Oxidation - believe it or not, this process is extremely effective in terms of reducing the toxicity of impurities and the treatment helps in converting some impurities to water, solids as well as carbon dioxide.
